Elf on the Shelf experience returns to Pomona Fairplex as walk-thru holiday attraction

The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey will return to Pomona Fairplex Nov. 5-Jan. 2, 2022 and will be re-imagined as an outdoor walk-thru experience with bold and bright sets, costumed characters and lots of Christmas spirit.

The attraction, which debuted as a drive-thru experience in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will shrink guests down to elf-size as they embark on a journey through a series of scenic displays where they’ll meet a variety of characters sent out to raise Christmas spirit to help fuel Santa’s sleigh and get him back on track. The story is told from an elf’s perspective and ends with a holiday trolley ride.

The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey is based on the book and characters created by Chandra Bell and features an original score by award-winning composer Curtis Moore and set and lighting designs by Broadway and television and film professionals David Kornis and David Weiner.

In compliance with current country COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, guests are required to wear masks in all indoor settings (including restrooms) and are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their ticketed time slot.
